I recently bought a Maginon IPC-10AC webcam at Aldi Netherlands that i would like to use in combination with my Synology Surveillance station version 7.

The brand Maginon is not listed in the compatibility  matrix of Synology, i searched the Internet and a few articles were directly or indirectly linking to this specific camera. The solution that worked for me was to add the Maginon IPC-10AC camera as a StorageOptions SON-IPC1 camera. Even the motion capabilities of this camera can be used then.

Simple solution isn’t it?
